Fun Field Shooting

Field_archery_freestyle_recurveAn informal shoot has been arranged for members of Cheltenham Archers to enjoy a session and get a taste of Field Archery. The course will be set out with paper and Hessian field targets at distances from around 5 to 40 yards. Groups of archers will be accompanied around the course by experienced members of the High Cross club.

High Cross is a small, friendly Field Archery Club based in Chedworth with a permanent 36 target course set in an old quarry.

The shoot wil take place on Sunday 10th March 2013 and is suitable for all members of Cheltenham Archers, senior/junior, experienced/novice, Recurve/Compound/Longbow/Barebow and costs £6 per member.

Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather. If possible, it would also be a good idea to bring an older set of arrows as some losses may occur. There is an on-site cafe and real toilets.
