  • National Series, Ashe Morgan comes third in the finals, He qualifies in first place after winning two of the qualification rounds.
  • On Sunday 4th August the 1st Junior Masters tournament was held, Invited junior Master Bowmen only.Emily Bryant took part, having gained her Junior Master Bowman award last season.
  • National Championships – Ashe Morgan comes second he also attains his 1300 Fita Star.
  • Two members of Cheltenham Archers Juniors, Emily Bryant and Austin Whitmarsh, have been invited to the England Regional Performance Academy network.

(Kieran Slater is the third Recurve Man, so ALL THREE RECURVE MEN ARE FROM GLOUCESTERSHIRE !!)

Mexico (No 5) beat Great Britain (No 14) in the bronze medal match. Olympian Naomi FOLKARD shot with 19-year-old Ashe MORGAN, for who it is the first World Cup event.

2007

  • 17 year old record broken – Archery

    Cheltenham Archers’ Ashe Morgan, aged 13, smashed Larry Godfrey’s record for a Bristol II by scoring a huge 1144 , with 144 hits and 78 golds at the Junior County Championships (Gloucestershire)

    Shooting the Bristol II in the U14’s category, the Kingswood Foresters’ Junior, Larry Godfrey set the record in April 1990, scoring 1098, which has now be eclipsed by our very own Ashe Morgan.

  • Cheltenham Archers 150 years old.
