Club Night, 1st May 2013, Warwick Rounds.

Nineteen Cheltenham archers and assorted helpers/groupies met on Oakleaf field on the evening of Wednesday 1st of May to take part in the first of three organised club night shoots.

The weather was by far the best we have seen for some months with not a drop of rain, drizzle, hail or snow in sight. Even the ever present wind that caused so much aggravation at the recent club nationals was absent.

A Warwick round of four dozen arrows was shot and this was followed by a superb fish and chip supper in the late evening sunshine.

Congratulations to Norma Duke who, subject to confirmation, set a new ladies compound club record.

Congratulations also to Emily Bryant and Lexie Evans who beat the existing records for their respective distances (again subject to confirmation).

Many thanks to all club members who made the evening such fun.

The next club night shoot is an American round which will be held on Wednesday 5th June.

“BE THERE OR BE SQUARE” !!!!!!!!
