Easter Bunny, Monday 1st April 2013, Results.
My thanks to all you brave archers, who turned up and shot in bitterly cold conditions. Not surprisingly, there were no National Records claimed for the day, although Alfie Wilkes of Evesham is claiming a County Record for a Junior National Compound score. Well done Alfie !!
We observed a minutes silence during Assembly, in memory of Martyn Iles, who died in March. Martyn would have been Senior Judge at this shoot, and we are very greatfull to Richard Jones, who stepped in at short notice and took over. Our thanks also to Jean Howells and Adrian Gifkins who acted as our other Judges.
My personal thanks to all the Cheltenham Archers Members who helped set out the field, acted as Field Party, manned the kitchen, and generally helped to make things run smoothly.
Our Nominated Charity this year is The Severn Freewheelers, the voluntier group who run blood and transplant organs, by motorbike, between hospitals in Gloucestershire and Worchestershire. Thanks to the generosity of those attending the shoot, we were able to hand over a cheque for £500 towards the cost of running their service.
We look forward to seeing you all at our other tournaments during the year.

Hi Edward,
Thanks for taking the time to organise the tournament. Whilst I havent got many others to go on, I thought it was very well organised although please have a word with Mother Nature before the next one.
Thanks once again.
Regards,
Cheltenham Archers.
I don’t think I’ve ever received a results sheet so quickly!!! Very impressive.
It was the first competitive shoot for 3 of our number and apart from the horrendous weather, we all enjoyed it.
See you again later in the year!
