On Target Competition Result.

Saturday 28th June saw Cheltenham Archers take on Black and Gold in the 
first round of the knock out Club Competition, organised by Archery GB, 
as part of the “ontarget” programme, which our Club has signed up to.
Our team of Chris Kemp (Captain), Mike Regan, Mandy Bettany, and Emily 
Bryant, beat the Black and Gold team of Alan Green (Captain), Dave 
Wilton, Carol Williams and Barbara Webb, by 13 points to 7.
The highlight of the day was Mandy pretending to be shooting a Compound 
bow, and getting a score to match!
Adrian Gifkins very kindly acted as Field Captain, and had to struggle 
with some extremely obscure and archane rules, which he managed to 
master with superb aplomb.
