Annual Frostbite Shoot – 5th January – 12pm

The annual frostbite shoot will take place on Sunday 5th January 2020 at Oakleaf Field.

3 DOZEN ARROWS AT 30 YARDS, 6 ARROW ENDS
ASSEMBLY 12.00 NOON
CLUB JELLY BOWS ONLY; BUT PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN ARROWS, TABS, QUIVERS ETC IF POSSIBLE
HOT STEW (assorted) AND REFRESHMENTS IN THE CLUB HOUSE AFTERWARDS.
Please let Edward Kain know if you plan to come, so that enough food can be provided, also if you have any dietary constraints (a vegetarian stew option will be available).

This is a FUN SHOOT. Everyone uses the Club Jelly Bows, which are like a synthetic Longbow. This makes a “level playing field” in which the skill of the archer, and not his/her sophisticated equipment, decides who wins. A very good way for new Members to shoot their first Round, they are just as likely to win as the most seasoned “Robin Hood”!
