Cheltenham Archers, Second Festival Tournament, 4th July 1976

The second Festival Tournament was every bit as good as the first. The weather was perfect, if a little hot for some ! The competitors were immensely pleased to see Roy Matthews, Last years winner, looking fit and happy, strolling along the line with Mary (his wife) to chat with his many friends, Roy is recovering from a massive heart attack.

Such is the popularity of this event that large numbers of entries had to be turned away quite early on.
