Easter Bunny Charity Tournament 2024

The Easter Bunny charity tournament took place on April 1st at Oakleaf Field this year. Despite the varying weather conditions, the event saw a turnout of 71 archers, with two exceptional junior participants setting new UK records.

Archers from clubs near and far, including Torquay, attended the event. Seven club members from Cheltenham Archers participated with Lorna Stevens bringing home Gold for women’s recurve, Maddison Nelmes claiming Gold for under 15 Women’s recurve and Ewan Moyne Gold for Under 14 Male recurve, and we also warmly welcomed many novices from other clubs to their first tournament experience. The trophy for 1st girl was awarded to Ava Snell from Newnham Archery Club and 1st Boy was awarded to Ewan Moyne from Cheltenham Archers, congratulations to both!

Thanks to the generous support of all our participants, we were able to raise £800 for Suicide Crisis, our designated charity. Suicide Crisis works tirelessly on both national and local levels to prevent suicide, relying solely on donations for its operations. We hope this contribution will make a meaningful impact.
