GWAS Intercounties 2014 Results.

The GWAS Intercounties Match took place at Exeter on Sunday 21st September. Club members Mavis and Andy took part.

The weather was warm but breezy, the wind varied in strength and direction.

Gloucestershire came third overall behind the winners Somerset by 200 points.

The county had a number of successes, Coming first in –

Recurve Team in a team of 5 Yorks. (Larry, Tom, Luke, Andy, Colin)

Compound Team of 2 Yorks & 2 Herefords.

First Recurve man, Larry Godfrey, 1176 York.

First Lady Compound, Teresa Bridges, 1212 Hereford.

First Compound man, Matt Arnold, 1250 York.

Karen Blanch was Second Recurve Lady scoring 1064 for her Hereford, which was only 4 points behind first place.
